How do I rate my game?

I had started this thread before but can't find it anywhere so I will post it again I guess.

I just want a way to professionally rate my game. There is a ranking system called the international streight pool rating system but I can only find one website with the program and it is down.

Does anyone know where I can find it or do you guys have a different system that I can use?

There's a pretty decent thread on how to rate it in here:

In straight pool you can probably rate it by your high/average run.
Come to think of it, that's probably true in 8 and 9 ball too. Write down how long your runs are every night for a week, including the break, and average it at the end of the week. Don't count safety attempts. Count consecutive racks or if you win, the other guy breaks, and then you continue shooting, count that as one long inning from game to game.

The closer your average is to 8 in 8 ball or 9 in 9 ball, the better you are.

This is very simplified but it gets the job done. I'd say anything over a 4 is getting past amateur.

Novice - 3
Begginner- 4-5
wannabe 6
advanced 7
advanced wannabe 8
Player 8-9
Shortstop 10
wannabe Pro 5-10
Pro - 11

Here is a reasonable test of potting/position skills :

There are scores posted by various members, so you'll have some benchmarks to compare yourself to (hey Willie, I just called you a "benchmark" :p ). If I were to guess, I'd say you need to be in the top category consistently to have any chance in better competitions.

It does not test defense / safety play / kicking skills, which is a bummer :(

Your link doesn't work.
YOu aren't lying, are you?!

The link was supposed to take JackBauer07 to the page that 'shows all posts by' him...finding his referenced original thread.

Jack! You can click on a poster's name and get options re: that poster, including 'show all posts', 'send private message'. This can also be done for your ID, by yourself...:o
