How do you carry a Magic Rack in your cue case?

I just got one, but I'm wondering what's the best way to carry it in my case. Do you roll it up and put it in something, or just fold it?

I would get a small length of some sort of rigid tubing like pvc or whatever..roll it slide it in go shoot pool.

get one of these plastic tubes.

You definitely don't want to fold it.Even rolling it is not great.I cary mine on
the outside of my case, using the latch to secure it.This is ok but it can get damaged pretty easily.

One way is to leave them in the plastic thing they come in.

I see an untapped market. I guess I could clip it to my case with a carabiner....although that seems like a good way to bend it. I like the tube idea. Hmmmm....smaller than a Pringles can, larger than a cigar tube.

We ship the Accu-Racks in a tube for easy carry that even has a place for lanyard.. Funny thing is many people don't like the tube because of it's size... I have been considering dropping the tubes and just going with the cheap flat packaging... Looking for something in between as we speak.. Will let ya know what we come up with....

I cut a paper towel tube in half, put it in the plastic bag and roll it up to keep inside my case.

I stick mine in the inside of my ball cap .
I have one of the tall ones turned sideways and it fits perfect between the sweat band

I roll it up loosely and it fits inside my case pocket just fine like that.

Been fine like that for years without any problems.

Interesting that you are posting this, as I have often thought about a feasible way to transport it.

Consider this response a poor man's copyright. So, for you casemakers/leatherworkers out there, here's my idea:

A large leather luggage tag fit to size, with a buckle strap that can be affixed to your case. It would have to be thin with a wide opening, to allow for easy placement and retrieval.

I carry attached with a carabiner to my case a handmade extension, so I put the Magic rack in a A4 plastic bag, and carry it together with my extension.

I thought about rolling it up, but don't want to deal with whitecreases that I see with other people's racks. So, I prefer to keep it as flat as possible.

My 9/10 ball template rack fits neatly inside the case of balls I keep in the trunk of my car. The rack template also seem to have enough static cling it sticks to the back of my iPad, which I usually bring to the poolhall.

I really think the ziploc-type bag they come in is best. I just carry it in my free hand.

They can work rolled up, my buddy tucks it into his accessories pouch. But it's easy to get bent, and even if it's just mildly curled you almost have to make sure the curl faces down if you want the balls to settle properly. I don't want to fight with the curl. My rack's still nice and flat and you can flip it either side up.

I roll it around the butt of my break cue and put the whole combo in the case (Justis Pro Lite). I have one of the original MR's, but others tell me theirs get crimps and fold and memory issues. I don't have those issues... yet.

And mine have been pretty much rolled up in storage for several years at this point. I just place them catch-water-down and by the time game two or three comes around, you'd never know that they had been rolled up.

Other than going to league, I carry a gym bag that has various accessories I don't like to be without when I practice or casually play.
My MR's stay in the bag in their ziploc bag they came in unless I am using them

Just roll/wrap it around the butt of your jump cue, if you have one. If you only leave it wrapped around it on the way to and from the pool hall, and then lay it inside a big textbook or something at home, it shouldn't crease up.

I take a set of balls with me, so it slips right into the pouch on the Aramith case.
