I posted this on another forum and got no answers at all. I had this table left to me a couple of years ago in Vegas. I was low balls how did I get out? 2 ball doesn't go straight in either pocket A or B.START(

Well, Kyle, let me get the discussion going. You've got two problems to solve, unless you like banking the eight long.

From the diagram, it's not easy to tell whether the one can be caromed into the corner off of the fourteen, but if it can be, then the eight can be freed up on the same shot with which you open up the two ball. While caroming the one in off the fourteen, stun the cue ball soft but almost square into the thirteen and you can create a shot on the two in the corner, after which you can make the eight in that same corner.

Kyle, if the one doesn't carom in off the fourteen, however, let me know and I'll reconsider the problem.

SJM the carom does go made shot real straight though, first part's right.

It looks straight, Kyle, but I can still stun into the thirteen fairly square. To go softly into the thirteen nearly square off a straight shot will take a lot of power, but it can be done.

Also, I'm assuming that the two won't run into the eight. Doesn't look like it will off the breakout, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Play 1 straight into the 14 carom into the corner stop the white dead and the 14 will bank into the 2 (or ball touching it depending on angle) leaving the 2 where it is and and moving the ball touching it away. this leaves both the black and the two on - great shot if the angles are right :-)

I figured if I missed the break on the 2 ball I'd have a shot at the cannon off the 9(either in or at least leaving it in the way).
