How long is your bridge?

Seems that any topiv on BHE or bridge lengths tend to go on and on :-)

I can normally visualise the shot before a shoot, but you have to visualise the correct speed and feel of the shot. When using english this is very important as bridge length and aim are important. Do you consider swirve into your aiming, or shoot so deflection (squirt) is more powrful, or cancel both out? Also consider the effect spin has on the object ball angle out of the shot. More so on outside english, but you still need to consider this with IE shots.

as i start to get in stroke my bridge usually gets longer.sometimes 16 inches or more.

Which reminds me of an old joke:

A man was hospitalized. An older, matronly nurse gave him a sponge bath. She ran to the nurses' station, blushing furiously, and confided in the young, voluptuous nurse,

"I can't believe it! The patient in Room 217 has a tattoo on his penis! And the weird part is, it only says, 'SWAN'."

"This I gotta see," thought the voluptuous nurse, and so she gave the man his next sponge bath. She returned from this chore with a broad grin and said to the older nurse,

"It doesn't say, 'SWAN', it says, 'S-A-S-K-A-T-C-H-E-W-A-N'!"
