How many are using FB groups to sell now instead of AZ for sale subforum?

Cool, I knew you would do it Chris. I have had to say Sorry a few times here.

I knew you were joking about Dom. But we can't stop him or anyone from going where they like.

He does post a few interesting links and he can be serious on occasion. If you want to call him a Troll, I have seen 100 times worse.

I knew that I had seen you in NPR several times so I didn't figure that you disliked it that much.

Anybody can fit in, it isn't that difficult. I will always maintain that one can get jumped on in the Main Forum just as easy as anywhere else.

Actually the main forum as it concerns people of this billiards community and the discussion of the possible removal of a sub forum. Which again affects individuals the use this site.

I am pretty sure if Mike was going to start and open discussion of this it would in a sticky on the main forum with a notice in NPR.

For me I have several faults but what bites me most online is I am a soapbox personality... I jump up on one and once I get started I sometimes don't know when to quit.. When I am in that mode I am also a little less laid back. So I jumped straight past kinder and gentler and did exactly what I am asking people to stop doing without thinking... That part is on me....

The 2nd place I usually look on AZ is NPR.. It's not my primary but I am in there alot... I would miss it but if was truly the issue I would be in favor of it going away... I really do not see it being the source of the ill wind but you guys are in custody of doom pooper LOL and I "jumped" when I made that statement...

As far as being neutral.... It's not me... And I cannot pretend to be just in the hopes that it helps my sales.... I have my opinions and I have my facts and I have my truths... Note that facts are different than truths... You can change my truths with some evidence.. Changing my facts will take a mountain of it like most posters here...

I hope AZ continues long into the future... Jerry I consider a friend Mike I know in passing simply because we are usually both busy when he is at the events.... I don't want to drive people away... I would prefer that things evolve here... A better search function, more sales subforums, Pro forums where maybe they can moderate their subforum so things don't go so far out into left field... A chat plugin......

If you stopped by my booth I seriously would have apologized if I had pissed you off but also reassured you that I would get around to it....

There is no malice in it in most instances and I need to work on the instances that there is....

As far as I am concerned this thread is dead from here out simply because Mike is working on solutions... Yes I could have opened the dialogue in a better way. Yes I could have stayed on track and not jumped off the main premise.. Just seems that I carry that soapbox with me every where I freaking go.... Maybe at some point I can let it go.. It causes problems online it usually never causes in public.......

Sorry to everyone in NPR who took offense when I cast blame where it wasn't warrented....

And the attemped humor of ownership of the pooper does not belie my true feelings. I stated them.... if NPR was the problem I would be in favor of it being gone but I do not think there is any evidence as that being the case..... If there was evidence that any subforum was one of the issues causing the traffic to stifle I think most AZers would be in favor or a subforumectomy.....

At this point changes are needed... Likely nothing like killing off whole subforums or even the religion/political threads.... Some are going to just blame Spring... Or say that it isn't THAT bad... I think if we wait until it is THAT bad it's going to be a harder row to hoe....

I don't mind doing weekly contests or donating if that helps get foot traffic up or anything else I can in my power...

AZ was recognized as what? the 3rd most influential voice in pool several years ago... Would be nice if we could get back there if we aren't anymore......

I have not read the whole thread ...i just popped in from time to time and read a few posts. It just seemed to be too much bs too wade through .

From what I have read it seems that some people get their feelings hurt because some one does not have the same opinion or have the same interest in things they like to do.

Kinda comical when some one declares I am not gonna buy your services because you do not agree with my opinion. It is your perogative to feel that way by some times the way people state it . It sounds a lil childish.sounds like a kid saying I'm gonna take my toys and go home because you upset me.

I would not deal with some one who resorted to personal attacks because of my opinion but I would have no problem dealing with some one who did not share my beliefs. Life would be boring if we all thought the same

The npr is not my cup of tea and I have probably only visited it half a dozen times in my years on here but have issues with the forum or any one who posts in it. I am a live and let live kinda guy but am guilty of going off on some one on this forum a time or 2 when they got too personal in their disagreement with my viewpoint.

I think you just have to have thick skin on here and realize there are some who act lil 12 year old internet bad asses on here . I just laugh when some one who dis agrees with your view wants to challenge you to a match. Lil I amgonna hop on a plane and fly 1200 miles and play you cause you don't like my choice of chalk. Lmao ��

I don't discriminate, I will sell chalk to anyone, including all the "jack asses" that wants it :thumbup:
 
One thing I did notice on the FB pages are plenty of Predator cue's for sale... but many cue's listed there with pics, responses, more interactive than the forums here.
 
For the time being, the Sellers can't interact with potential buyers on their threads. They can however by way of PM's. I am sure that will soon be rectified by the Powers.

If you are looking for a specific production model and there is more variety somewhere else, then that's where you will probably go.

If you are shopping for a vehicle, you most likely won't purchase one from the first dealership that you stop at, would you. Shop around.

AZB is only one avenue of many for new and used pool equipment.

I can see how you thought that based on what I posted back to Chris, Rider.

I had said, "Gee, and I wanted to buy some of his chalk too". That was based that after what I said to him, I didn't figure he would sell me any.

I mentioned that I was trying out other tips. I tend to do that for my customers, and myself. I still have one of his Tips on my Black Dot.
If I didn't like it, it would have been off before this. Sometimes, I try a tip and take one off to make room to try another. It's not like I don't have 20 cues and more shafts, just that only a couple that I use for my main cues before I play with any of the others.

I was not commenting about your post in particular blue hog. As a matter I fact I kinda read between the lines and gathered you meant what you posted above.

A few others stated in a round about way they would not do biz due to differences of opinion
 
Thanks, I appreciate it. I didn't think you were centering me out in particular.

Just that I was one of the guilty ones that did what you were explaining. So I figured that I would own up to my part of the deal.

It was funny how Chris explained his feelings also. Cause in this case or some others, it is not totally unlike me to get up on my soap box either.

At the end of the day, no one is banned and I think that as long as we can understand the reason for each others posts, all will be well.

It is just a message board, that said, it is a healthy thing to debate and even fight or argue a bit and blow off some steam, as long as it is somewhat productive and everyone learns a lesson from it. Just not to harbor ill feelings or will toward people
that you would normally consider a message board friend at the least.
