i am a friend of "pool fool" here...he was showing me this forum and allowed me to post under his screen name...i have to speak for all the others in the rooms that bernie makes his "appearances"....first off let me say...i dont play the game anymore but when i did i was nothing special...high run of 73 in 14:1... high run of 5 racks in 9 ball... basically your average player...i still hang out in the rooms now and then but i just dont play the game anymore...i dont mean this a "personal attack" but i feel that everyone in these forums should know who they are "chatting" with...bernie is one of the most annoying persons to walk into a pool room ...when he walks in EVERYBODY rolls their eyes and lets out a sigh and counts down the time till he leaves...he is a horrible player....but he talks like he can actually play the game...after not playing but maybe 15 hours in the last 2 years id still get on the table with him and spot him atleast the eight and some games on the wire...but that would never happen cause he never plays for anything...yes you might say we play for the enjoyment of it...but ive yet to meet anybody who enjoys seeing him let alone play with him...just felt that he should be exposed for who he really is ...this is not an attack and i dont want "pool fool" to get admonished by the moderator for this...the truth is not an attack!!!

Who cares? Sorry but I don't think this was called for in any shape or form. I don't know Bernie and I have never seen him play, but what I do find annoying is people who come on to forums and constantly slam other posters just because they don't like that person. Like I said in the Billy bob bashing thread "its kind of juvenile". What are you guys in high school??? Grow up.

Just let it be. We will see how he plays in the first tournament. And as for reminding us or telling us who bernie is, I don't know about anyone else but I didn't ask. I don't consume my days wondering what Bernie or any other poster on this forum is like.

For God sakes we (for the most part) are all adults here, start acting like it.

How about this

When you are one of the lucky 50 who replace the botton one third oh ya thats 50, then let us know who you beat! Nick

Yes mate you played very well that day and duly deserved your fine win. :-)

I think I might have beat Pat for 1 or 2 frames in a race to 9 - I might even have been 2-0 up, but otherwise he outclassed me in every way possible. Doesn't really count then, does it? Ahh, well, I enjoyed it while it lasted...

I'm certain that the SPADEVIL will be 'one to watch' at the IPT. He never quits and always plays to win.

OK go easy on me!

I have beaten the following in COMPETITION, since that is what I took the question as meaning...

  • A young Dutch world class player
  • A Mexican WPC runner up
  • Top 8 finisher of the infamous Tokyo event )and ex snooker Pro)
  • Former Glass City Open Champion
  • Australian who finished 33rd in last years WPC
  • Current UPA No 1
  • A big US Money player
  • Former BCA Champion
  • Former Irish Champion and current Ocenia Champion
  • Ex Billiard World Campion
  • A famous AZ Ozzie

But like SJM, one set doesnàt mean that much even though it is competitive.

Nick Van Den Berg
Ismael Paez
Johl Younger
Charlie Bryant
David Relijc
Shawn Putnam
Corey Duel?
Hohmann
John Wims?
Terry Race?
The last one actually has me stumped?

FYI, I have never beat an IPT member...it sucks living out here in the boonies:)

I would have to say at least a dozen over the years, and I would have to go over the list and it could be more. Mike Sigel would be one, at the Jointed Cue 9 ball tournament in Sacramento, many years ago. Trainer, who just beat 3 of them at the Rum runner Tournament in Vegas, beat me at the Color of Money Tournament in LA in 1987. But then, I'm not in the IPT, so that doesn't count. John Henderson

hey john, ed wright was in town a few weeks ago and was asking about you..

Oops.. here here !!

I have played only one IPT-player, and I beat him! :)

Won 2 - 1. It was a moneygame, with 20 € each in the pot.

We both played with one hand, and I finished him out with three banks in a row :)

He is from Holland, and was one of the selected players. Was an European Champion at that time...

Can I play? Are all the players listed on the ipt website, including the qualifiers? Or is there a list of the qualifiers also?

I count 27 of the one's listed on the IPT site. Twenty-two Americans, 2 or 3 each of Canadian and Phillipino, depending on how you count them.

Fourteen in full professional events, 11 in race to 9 tournaments including 2 tournament finals, and 2 little races to 5 of which 1 was a final match that he and his little pal didn't want to split.

If I must legitimatize myself as a player, then I've won matches against a number of these players. :D

I've lost matches against them as well.
