How many cues do you need to bring to the pool hall to play for Big bucks?

In my opinion, this argument makes no sense. In golf, they use a different club for every shot. I'm not a golfer, but as far as I know, golfers never get criticized for this. I don't see how having a separate break cue or jump cue is detrimental to the game.

I'm with Earl on this one- I think you should only use 1 cue- no break cues or jump cues allowed

I have lost a tip during a fairly significant tournament. And the houseman's replacement tip lasted about one rack. I carry a spare shaft for my Gilbert just in case that ever happens again.

Counting your break cue, and any others cues you need to play a big match for big money? Thanks.

Four. And two shafts each.

Freddie <~~~ and maybe one or two more depending if we're playing different disciplines

Left-handed cues for 9' & 12'
Right-handed cues for 7'
I play with just a shaft (it's ambidextrous) on English pub tables (6')

3 cues, 5 shafts, all in a Justis case. Don't play for money.

Main player, 2 shafts, and jump/break cue, is all i need to be happy. But since my case will hold another, I would bring a back up player, that would most likely not see the felt...
