I've never had a Cobra. Nice cues. Mine is the Dove, but with the nylon wrap. I like your Dove butt.

I did a search on Renaissance Wax. I must have more than a dozen posts on this topic.
It is important to steam treat any nicks, dents, scrapes or scuffs on your wood cue shaft.
Based on the severity, it might take a dozen treatments or more if the shaft is damaged.

I can walk you through the physical process and you can call me 559-977-6944 (PST).
Meanwhile, I found these that should get you started. Rennaisance Wax comes in two
sizes (65 ml & 200 mil) and is available thru the Internet. I always buy it using eBay.

Sir, I seem to associate wax with stickyness but having never used it before, could you explain to me where the slickness comes from by applying it..?
