Well this year I got voluntold that I had to do Snow Removal at my contract job.

How many of you do the same. I feel your pain.

You may have confused this site with AZ Snowblowers, an alternative life style club in Alaska.

Don't stay out too long, your fingers and face will turn the color of the 2 ball.

And don't hit any cars or mailboxes, or you certainly will be seeing 3 ball color.

The 1 ball in the sky is a welcome sight, I bet.

however, if the 1 ball color is present in the snow, stay alert.

There may be a mean dog or drunk people nearby.

please plow a 90 mile strip down 40 from you, to me, to SJM so that we can all get together this weekend & test drive Magic Chalk.

while i've got snow shovels, KK9 & i have said "screw it" to 6 inches. we're going sledding! :joyful: :joyful:

I have 2 snowblowers, a wittle guy and a behemoth. We only got about 2 inches tops so the wittle guy did his thang. Afterwards to keep this pool related I went downstairs and shot the 9 ball in the corner while Alyssa applauded.

Don't get much snow here on the Gulf of Mexico. It's cold today at around 42 F and supposed to warm up to mid 60 this weekend/early next week. I wouldn't even know how to use one of them things (plow or blower):)

Pool Related Snow Removal

Well in keeping with the Pool Related Theme....I made some money this morning now I can afford my pool habit.

I began with the ambition to make a snowman

but gave up early and ended up with a big cueball.

Nope. I've never plowed snow.

And I've never been stuck in the snow either.

Eight in the side.

White Gold

Who you kidding 336? Plow drivers call it "White Gold".

You are so right there. I got a used plow so some hydraulics need a little rebuilding but they do what I have to. I haven't even tried and made a grand of my money back. I'm changing a pump and next year I'm going after the home driveway market. Its easy and fast and its cash. Got to love that.

pffftt! that's nothing, Michigan! i used to walk to the bus stop in Bloomfield Hills in 3ft, with 5ft walls on the side of the road. ;) but down here, they're idiots - they spend all their time plowing the highways only. i guess they think that if we can all make it to the main roads, then business will flow?

which leads me to a pool thought -

the tourney field is shrinking, for financial reasons. if the promoters change the playing field to accomodate their own constraints, will it force the serious "players" to attend?

Snow plowing

I have worked for a lawn service and have driven a plow truck for the last ten years. We are pretty well the biggest outfit in our area(rolla, MO). So I feel your pain. Although being from central Missouri it's not near what they get up north. Could imagine have to deal with more then say 10-12" at a time. On a more pool related note I put a old fisher 7' in the front office area of our shop. It's from the 70's I would say used to be coin op. I put new rails and fresh simonis 860 and it plays like a dream. Stay warm we are looking at another round Saturday.
