just out of curiosity, how many of you have matched up with fellow azb'ers? How did you matchup and how did it turn out? You might want to check with whomever you matched up with before posting :)

I've not "matched up" with any of them as there were no monetary bets but I've had the pleasure of playing with:

williebetmore
SJM
woody_968
cheff Jeff
Jennifer Barretta
JrPlayer01
JamisonNeu (I think we played before he was a member)
Danny Harriman (there was a very small wager but Danny won...lol)

I'm sure there are a few others that I am forgetting but I can say I've never had a bad experience in meeting/playing any AZer so far!

I'll echo zeeder's sentiment; I have enjoyed all of my pool with the following AZB'ers:

SJM
Sarah Rousey
zeeder
ChefJeff
Jennifer Barretta
ManifestEcstasy
WallyinCincy
StraightPoolIU
FenderTwoTwenty
breakup (but please don't tell him; don't worry about him seeing this, he doesn't read well - short bus syndrome)
Samiel
stevelomako
TommyT
cuesmith
IronDon55
sodapopd
Grady Mathews
Efren Reyes and Jeanette Lee (well, they're not AZB'ers, but I just wanted to rub it in breakup's face a little bit)
mthornto
goinproin07
OOPS!!!
1pRoscoe
girlwon1
YoungWilliam
satman
Johnny Archer

Apologies to anyone I've forgotten (and to Sweet Marissa and Timberly who wouldn't play).

Thanks to zeeder for not mentioning my non-stop sharking (heck, he's good; you've got to do SOMETHING to slow him down a little).

The only person i have met off AZbilliards that i have known about was PERK.

And that was because he mention'd something in a post i had and we got to talking and i found out he lived like 2miles away from my parents place so we ended up shooting some pool about a week later.

And i was so nervous on trying to run balls left n right that i didnt win a single set, even though we was just playing for fun. But it was fun, and we still talk and met up a couple weeks ago at a tournament, just to shoot the shyt, and tried to give him some info on the players in the tourny, and how the tables break/play.

And i will say he is very down to earth about how he plays and was really nice considering we went back to his house to shoot on his table, which was nice since free pool is always a bonus.

I was in Sacramento for business and met up with SacTownTom AKA TomInCincy and we played some racks at Hard Times. Great place, great player, very nice Omen cue. Was a pleasure to meet and play.

Ive hit balls around with:

Joey
Timberly
Onepocketchump
Baker6x6
Jennifer Baretta

I haven't played with anyone I know to be an AZB'er but if you are in the Waterville, ME area let me know. I'll be glad to bang'em around a little.

I play w/ ARM a few times a week as well as RJBigfish. Should be matching up w/ poolhall maven soon. But, best of all, I've played w/ the legendary SHORTY!!!!.

i was wondering what would be the best time and place, so i can meet and play as much AZB'ers as possible. the dbc? or any other event? a greet and meet?

let me know so i can start giving my dreams a better idea of what ill be doing.

id like to play donovan, scott, the calculatr, kimberly, Jenn b, linda, and some more :)

The only one that I booked a winner with was Mark Griffin and I won $50 playing one pocket with him and then flipped a coin for $50 and promptly lost it back......
Doug

Sorry you went for that dude, Griffin is one of the most feared coin flippers on the planet. He was in the process of building a night club in the early 90s. He and I would flip a coin for $20 every time we saw each other. In short I paid for all the stainless steel ash trays for the club.:o

No tricks, I would flip and he would call. Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, hard floor or carpet, heads or tails.

I flip I lose.

Several, including Williebetmore, although he refuses to acknowledge it ...... ;)

Scoe,
Damn it, quit reminding me that the Alzheimer's is setting in.

I DID enjoy the game - I amended the list to add you guys (beating girlwon1 was my second best experience of the week). I think my list is still incomplete; now where did I put my World's Fair spoon??????

break-man,
Glad to hear it. Sounds like you have a lot of experience in the "losing" department - keep up the good work. When we play, I must insist that you keep that little black cloud far away from the table - I hate humid conditions.

Are you anywhere near Brussels? I'm doing a study abroad thing this summer and will be in the Brussels area May 30th and May 31st and in Amsterdam from around June 1st through June 4th. I'd be happy to get together and knock some around while I'm there!

I did play. You just weren't in there when I did. I'll give it a shot at trying to remember everyone that I've shot with. Sorry if I mistakenly leave someone out. :o

1proscoe, did we play at Derby? I can't remember. It seems like I played someone else at Derby but the name escapes me at the moment. Satman could it have been you???

My list is shorter than my cue :D, because I never seem to remember this kind of stuff. I think 37 is a little to young to have the memory go...;)

CueJoey = about even
Samiel = kicked my booty, but the rematch has still gotta come.

Derby City Classic 2007! That will be the best time and place! I hope you can make it!
