It seems to me that a lot of pool involves puzzle solving. I wondering how many of you pool players like to do puzzles. Crossword puzzles, cryptograms, etc.

i am a champion at crossword puzzles and the rubiks cube!!!!!!! sadly it never helped me figure out how to get on 6 to get on the 7 to get back down table for the 8:)

I dont like puzzles. I used to like mazes as a kid but they got to be simple.

I do soduko, crosswords, crypto's and other puzzles daily. I subscribe to games magazine which has some great stuff in it. My wife was recently hospitalized, and I got her a nintendo ds with the game "brain age 2" to help keep her from getting bored. It has sudoku and some pretty good brain exercises in it.

Unfortunately I don't think any of it has helped my poor shooting abilities.

i'm a huge fan of puzzles whether it be tetris, crosswords, puzzlefighter... and I even do my rubik's cube all day at work to center my mind. I'm down to 2 minutes! :D

I do a couple sudoku puzzles almost every day on my Nintendo DS. I love spatial puzzles but I hate word puzzles. I hope never to see another crossword puzzle!

Yes

Word scambles, freecell, cribbage solitaire, and logic problems. I can see how this type of thinking could help figure out patterns on the pool table. But you still have to execute each individual stroke.
