Go ahead and replace them all. Materials and labor will probably run you at least $200.
The pieces with the damage at the top of the leg is actually a spacer that is attached to the frame of the table. When the legs are off, remove the
spacer and turn the damage to the inside of the table. Should just be some drywall screws or brad nails. Wont be as noticeable.
Well, from his point of view he is giving this table away compared to what he paid for it. Unfortunately, thats the market right now. Honestly, i would not of entertained any questions except, when can i pick it up? lol
The table was in his house when he moved in. He paid ZERO dollars for it unless the previous homeowner factored it in to the price of the home haha
It's been up on Craigslist for at least a week and said he had someone else serious about it the day I went to look at it. For some reason that person didn't return either. Makes me wonder.
I did have full intention on picking it up tomorrow though. Oh well. I'll move on hoping I may have just saved myself a headache. Back to the $475 Olhausen I was looking at.
Oh man. Unfortunate that's out of state. Can't afford a road trip right now.http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Brunswi...265?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aad5e9ea1
Rent a truck and take a road trip north. This is a hell of a deal for a sweet table.
Depending on the position of leg bolt you may be able to just turn the whole leg around to hide damage cause the flutes are on all four sides. I agree with Pat at that price it should of just been about scheduling a pick up time.
I'm new to this scene and so many people are telling me check this check that. Just adds a level of paranoia that something may be wrong with it, and I end up asking a bunch of questions as recommended by many on here.
Could drive an hour and get this bad boy!
