How much money should a Player spend in his home room each week?

$34.23 + tip.

I generally overspend, Most every week is $35.20 + tip leaving me a total spend of $48.00.
 
I work all over the world so I don't get to spend much time at my home room anymore , but I do make it a point to drop in every time I am home . I usually drop around 50.00-100.00 bucks when ever I am there , between table time , bar tab and food . but I tend to show up around 1 PM and stay until closing lol
 
I play every week. Sometimes I plat tournaments & sometimes I play GOLF. I always tip the waitresses & I take care of the place, like it was my home. Magoos is a great second home...
 
You're not going to believe this, but I checked last weeks expenses at the pool hall.
It came out to exactly $34.23. Amazing! :grin-square:

I always spent money in my home room or sport bar. I drank a lot before, during, and after pool. I played 4-6 hours a day 7 days a week.. In fact the last poolroom gave me free table time 24/7 for years. Johnnyt

Interesting, are we talking about just paying for table time or during those times when there is a tournament and league with basically free table time? I know some people just show up for league to play, never get anything and leave soon as their match is done.

A few things I always do, plug the room online and to friends to get them more business, and if there are food plans before an event, most of the time I spend my money there instead of a restaurant before or after.

During our $7 tournament where we get "free" table time for about 5 hours, between my son and I I would guess we spend $10-20 on food and/or drinks while there for one day. Between the two rooms I mainly play in, I figure I spend about $50-60 a week on food and table time for me and my son, not counting tournament entries and league dues for his junior league.
