How much to recover table?

My mistake your right not enough detail Not sure brand but it is 3 piece slate as of now disassembled not much of a table basically it was free but I thankful for it even if is not very nice
Just so you know, a lot of those free tables are such a pain in the ass to work on, that's why they're free, no one would buy it. Don't take offense, I'm simply pointing it out.

You don't spend good money on a saddle just to ride a worn out plow horse.

If you're willing to throw away money, there's plenty of table mechanics out there that'll gladly take it, but what you will hear for a good mechanic, is no, I'm not wasting your money and my time, but if you'd like, I'll try helping you find a better table.

So, do you have some pictures of this free table?

Just did my 9’ Brunswick last month. Did it myself $450 felt and $175 for new K55 cushions
If you paid $450 for cloth, even if it was Simonis 860 HR, you overpaid. That’s over $100/yard. Has Simonis increased in price that much since I last bought some 2 years ago?

If it is a cheap table , go to Amazon and get a 40 dollar cloth , the rails may be ok just loose , check that . Get a friend to come over who is half way handy and glue the cloth on tighten the rails level it best you can and have fun . Then you don't have a 20 dollar table that you spent 600 to fix and it's still so bad , you never play on it anyway.

In Chicagoland area. My Brunswick 9’ for assembly, new championship cushions, and championship felt they wanted $800. Another $250 to upgrade to Simonis and had to buy my own superspeeds for $200, but giving me $50 off the price since I’m supplying cushions. So my 9 footer assembled and set up with new cushions and Simonis is $1200. Well I have the frame together but they will need to check it. Plus another $100 for shims. So I’d say cost around $800-1000 on a 9 footer. Your 7 probably $6-800 with an upcharge for Simonis. Had a few lower estimates but all around the same price.

when I asked about just assembling/refelting they wanted $600 plus $250for Simonis. On changing the rubber later on. They quoted me $500. So I’d say get the felt and cushions done at same time for sure. It will be cheaper.

you might be missing some things though. You’ll probably need those slates leveled and sealed. And need new balls to not burn your nice cloth! Lol
