Looks unfinished. What is up with the buttcap? Looks like some kind of antler. Who made it ?

Without more info you are asking a broad question and not giving people enough to make an informed decision.

As it sits I agree with the above poster. Couple hundred tops. The laminated only shafts probably wont help things. Laminated by who?

The fact that it is made of BACOTE!!!!!!!!!! (inside joke but I had to do it) doesn't help things either. At least for me.

How about some more info on this.

EDIT: Just saw the "Elk Ivory". LOL...I like that.

More photos might help: Joint, shaft, ferrule and tip, detail of that butt cap, etc.

Weight, length, diameter of tip, also.

I'd agree on the 2 250 price...but the funny thing is....if you said Eric Crisp made it...I think it'd be going for more. But we can tell it wasn't.

yeah sorry

yeah it is unfinished but thats why i only have those pictures up because thats all i have at the moment, but once i get it i will post some more pictures. but i kinda asked for it to be kinda plain jane i like the simplicity of it i do wish i had asked for some silver rings with the ivory in the rings and maybe some veneers of some sort but i like the result so far im especially fond of the elk so thats why i got it the way it is i thought that it was a good combination? but the maker is someone local to wa. i think he did a good job on it thus far. and what the guy said about willing to pay more if it was crisp was kinda what i was trying to figure out if people would pay more for a stick irregardless of what it looked like.....

on a custom stick the lower end is two to three hundred. goes up from there based on quality of work and intricacy. you need to add those factors plus the time the maker puts into it. then if its a name maker than the price goes up according to his famous amount regardless of what it looks like.

oops

sorry about that. didnt know i only go o the wanted forsale section sorry, bu i was kinda trying to feel out what i could get for it in a round about way if i got it and didnt like it, so sorry but i didnt want to offer something that i didnt have yet.
