How often do you Play in a Poo League, or Pool Tournament

I have played in as many as 5 leagues a week but now don't play in any. Unfortunately, there aren't any local tourneys to speak of.
 
When league season is in full swing, my typical week looks like this:

Saturday: Money Shoot 8-Ball
Sunday: Money Shoot 8-Ball
Monday: Money Shoot 8-Ball
Tuesday: Ladies Only Money Shoot 8-Ball
Wednesday: 9-Ball League
Thursday: Womens League 8-Ball

Sometimes I trade out a the Tuesday night for a Money Shoot on Friday night.

I play ALOT.:D

Monday and Tuesday night APA 8 ball leagues, and the occasional friday night 8 ball tourney..

I play league twice a week, and two to four small tournaments a week, depending.
 
League Burnout

Got burnt out on leagues 2 1/2 years ago, just play tournaments or money ball.

Play 1 to 3 tournaments a week normally. Slacking off some during the summer.
 
At one point, I was playing leagues 4 nights a week. That proved to be too much. Now, I play one night a week and a weekend tournament.

I enjoy it much more and don't get burned out like I used to.
 
I know plenty of guys shooting three to four nights a week.

I don't know how they do it.

I guess my free time would be different if I wasn't married, with a child and mortgage.
 
We have rated tourneys 7 days/week here in Tucson also. They pay squat, so I just match up and gamble 5 nights a week instead.

The reason I'm playing 5 nights is precisely because I'm married and have a mortgage. Gotta pay the mortgage somehow. LOL

I have a wife and kids as well and still play 4-5+ times a week (outside the house). Wife plays with me in league on Wednesdays as a matter of fact.
On those nights the kids rent a table at the front of the room or play video games (they love the Slinko machines!:rolleyes: ), and are 100% respectful of the pool players in the room. Sometimes they bring a backpack and sit up front and color, do homework etc.

They are 6 and 7 and are better behaved then some of the 'players' in the building.:)

Is Money Shoot a local league in your area or is it something new? I've never heard of it.
