How To Break And Run 9-Ball

@Kickin' Chicken
I wouldn't recommend drawing to the rail and then back to the center. If you have spin on the cueball it goes somewhere und you can't predict it + as you said there are a lot of balls that could get in the way. It just happend because I hit too low on the cueball.

Yeah I also saw that in the video it looks like I'm aiming center at the cueball. But I remembered every shot because I edited the video just a few hours after recording. So no, no center ball - just like I showed it in the video.

@measureman
I agree. There are many ways to play it. If you run out, then you're right. I'm interested. How would you have shot the 4 ball?

@Icon of Sin
Yes I could have said a little more about that topic. But I referred to the other video where I explained exactly the thing with coming into the path.

@ChrisinNC
You're right.I will publish more videos of 9 ball runs with the same concept applied. There are so many things and so many different situations that can happen.

@Bob Jewett
I have four major playlists that include instructional videos:
Pool Tips: Just short tips on how to improve your game.
Pool Lessons: Short lessons where I explain certain parts of the game.
Pool Training: Everything put together in big run / match.
Special Shots: Shots that come up every now and then and that will help you.

@Rest
Thanks for all your feedback and subscriptions. It makes me really happy that you appreciate my work!

I've only just begun with this new concept and videos in english. Currently I'm working on videos for every playlist, the first one will be uploaded tomorrow.

I also have a lot of mental videos on my channel. Unfortunately they are in german right now. But I will translate them and upload asap.

Best wishes,
Shari

I liked it, well done. What software did you use for the editing?

Good idea on coloring the balls you want to plan ahead for, I think it will help a lot of new players to think about it more.

i would have followed farther up table and taken a shorter shot and bounced off the long rail for the 5.
now i know the way you shot it was going in line with the 5 and my way would be a crossing line for position.
But again its a personal preference on my part.Your way was just fine.

I used Adobe Photoshop for the graphics and edited the video with Adobe Premiere.

The tool that you see in the other videos, where I can draw lines, mark areas, elevate the cue, add spin and move the balls around is a program that I made for my tutorials.
