If a person wanted to find all the locals on the forum that he might want to play pool with, is there a way to search for members from their state? Or, is it a "post and hope they see it" kind of thing?

This would be one place to start. I don't think there is a compiled database of players, especially since it is optional to give out your local.

on the main azbilliards web page there is a link up top called Billiards space where you can sign up and list your location and look up others in your area.

I put in my zip code and choose 100 miles and it says there are no profiles in that zip code. Once, I got it to show one person in Tulsa, but that was it. Shoot! Oklahoma City is about 100 miles from here.
