How to make a leather wrap sticky

I have a cue that I like very much but it has a leather wrap - I definitely
prefer the feel of a wrapless cue - but since I love the play and hit of this
cue I was wondering if there was something I could put on the leather
wrap that makes it stickier.
Aren't there some leather products - conditioners or otherwise - that
might help accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for your help

I can't believe someone with that avatar needs to ask.

Changed it. Just for you....lol.

Now on to sticky leather.......is there a way to make this happen without changing the leather it self?

My cue has an embossed leather wrap. I keep the wrap polished with Kiwi shoe wax. It makes it a little sticky, I guess. You are not going to use a slip stroke with it.

I know of a few things people use to make saddles tackier.
Beeswax is one that might work. A glycerin(?) bar rubbed on it works too. Murphys oil soap
( in the tub ) is used by some people also.
They make some spray stuff too that's for saddles but I can't remember the name of it.
You can probably find any of this at a farm supply store or a place where they sell tack.
Might have to experiment to see what you like.

Some excellent ideas here.
I'm going to buy them all, seems like it's not a waste of money since they all
wear off with time.

Thanks for some really excellent suggestions.

Tiger products had a clear polish for shoes that they put on stack leather wraps in Vegas..I bought a can off their web site and it works great...For one piece or stack leather....

Or you could just leave the leather as is and place a rubber sleeve over it --- like the ones used by 3-c players.

It’s a bit tacky, I just put on 3/8” – 1/2” strip(s) of 2-sided tape, then you can spin the butt for tack on or tack off, of course if you have a sighted ferrule then you would want to adjust your tape position accordingly.
