What file extension must be used on video clips posted here?
And are they uploaded like attachments to the post?

You can embed video here, I have seen people do it. I don't know how.

Easy enough to just post a link to a video uploaded elsewhere like YouTube, as you say.

Actual videos or the animated gifs? I don't think I ran into an actual video you can play without using a link to another site.
