:) if i play the ghost, do i get ball in hand after i break?
Yes, until you feel like you don't need it. You can also spot all balls that drop if you like, for added difficulty.

I would have to respectfully disagree with your comment about a predator making it easier for you. No stick is going to compensate for a poor stroke. I don't buy into a low deflection shaft makes you play better. Fact is, after time you can easily adjust for the amount of deflection your particular cue has. I've played with all the low deflection shafts and I can shoot just as good with them as I can with a good old maple shaft.

Agree with everything you said, especially this!!!

Sorry Earl- never knew 408- straightpool run

Lets just go to platinum Billiards and READ which cues hit the ball the straightest, then to Kamuibrand .com,-------------- . See all you players ?at the derby- I'll be there again, I went with Shane last yr. for the banks shane said we should learn the rules. I put even balls one end 6 inches apart. Odd numbers the other end 6 apart, with ball in hand(first ball) play up and back odd then even odd theneven- best drill. thats well worth 20.bucks For push and Mosconi, I did play earl 1 time - I broke and ran, Earl sayes nice bankshot kid. exibition. He gave me some advice-the bridge Hand is the biggest Improvement in your game! And all he practices for tournements was nine ball-

The way I practice is to rack up nine ball, break and take ball in hand (like playing the ghost). I assign balls 1-8 1pt. each and the 9 is 2 pts. for a total of 10 pts./ rack. I play 10 games for a total of 100 pts. If you miss at any time, you mark down your score for that rack and start the next rack. It helps you set goals for yourself and keep records of your improvement.

Fisrt off take a private lesson from a BCA instructor to get your stroke and aim. Then buy all of Bert Kinister's videos and pracitice everthing that he shows. This will keep you busy for a long time.

The sixty minute workout will really help improve your game, the rest will help make you a champ.
