OK I have a Wayne Gunn cue to list, but I can't figure out how to shrink the file down to 100kb. It is 134kb now. The extension on it is .pdf

Can someone help an old guy out?

Thanks.

is it on your computer? If you would like to email it to me I will gladly post it in your thread for you.

You can upload your picture to photobucket then take IMG link and post it here. As for shrinking your file the only way I know of is compressing it but it wont display or anything. could also try cropping the image and what not.

If they are on your pc, click on the pic, click properties. i have a program called paint click onit then reduce to 50% then save. It will then load.

resize picture

if you are running windows on your pc it's easy to do. Just right click on the picture then click open with Microsoft office picture manager, when you open the picture with that you will be able to resize the picture a little smaller. click picture then resize..

bob,

Your problem is that the picture is in .pdf format, try to change the file to a .jpg. Once it's in .jpeg format it would be easy to edit in Paint like others have stated. If you cannot change the format from .jpg, you can select and copy the picture and try to paste it in Paint, but it may not have the same properties (lenght/width) so you may have to play with the size of the picture. This usually does not end up perfect so it's best to try to capture the picture in .jpg (like what you would get from a digital camera).

I never tried to save a .pdf formatted picture in photobucket, but if that works that would be the easiest thing to do. Hope this helps.

I just tried to upload a .pdf file to photobucket and it wasn't recognized, so I guess no go.

Hello,

As one member pointed out, the first step is to convert the file from PDF to jpeg.

Here is a FREE program that I use every day, to save and re-size jpegs:

http://download.cnet.com/IrfanView/?tag=mncol;1

This is a safe website to download all sorts of free programs, such as computer maintainance, jpeg editors, etc.

Best wishes,
