I would think they will play even. No odds involved at all.

I'm sure Buddy doesn't want to play for nothing. If I'm putting up all the cash with a chance to get only part of the winnings.. then I am giving up odds on my money. I do think they should play even one pocket however.. Buddy is still very capable of winning. I would probably bet on the side if I were there, but I couldn't stake him.
That does not sound like a big spot to me! When do you want to play him?
