I was honored to be a Huebler Dealer for many years. Mr. Paul Huebler made as fine as a cue back then as anyone. Usually the shafts were a strong 13 mm and the stainless steel joint cues were fairly stiff, but, not as much as the old Schons or Joss Cues. However, in my opinion, stiffer than the Meucci's of course and Mcdemott's. I sold on average about 30 a year for close to 20 years and never had a problem with a single cue other than a batch of early jump break cues where the joint was slipping. Paul replaced them all. The cue your referring to is out of the " Custom Shop Cues" and was known as the # 475. I may be way off my rocker, but, I thought a recent conversation came up on one of these not to long ago that I was part of and if I remember correctly, only a couple are known to exist that people are aware of. Should be a really hard find.

Definitely its own hit. Always a confident feeling stringin one together with a solid tool from a true American Craftsman. Props to Mr. Paul! Hope he is Doing Well...

Agreed I've grown away from Paul's cues awhile ago when I learned what a stiff hitting cue felt like. Not to say that they aren't awesome, hell look at my name  but my game has gone a different direction and I feel more comfortable with a stiff lively cue. I've learned that Huebler's don't personally give me that, and so far NO steal jointed cue has given me that. Want to go soft/stiff go with a Runde 3/16-14 piloted steel joint.

forever a fan..

I own 3 currently, and am always looking for others.

I have 1 original SP, SJ5, and recently acquired an MO6.

I also have a C-series McD, 2 Customs, and several other production cues including Universal Smart Cue.

I have played with several others I still love my Huebies, and often have a difficult time choosing which one to rotate into my case! :)

Bottom line is, even with all my options available I still love the hit and feel & look of his cues. They will always be a "Classic Cue" to me! Can't go wrong!

Huebler cues play like Hueblers. No other cue feels the same. So as far as hit goes some like it and some don't. But as for an investment, Hueblers are hard to beat as the prices are still okay and sure to increase.
