I have some Huebler cues that I might sell or trade.
This cue is from the "HI" series. I think this is the first line of cues that Paul Huebler produced.
When I called Huebler on the phone a couple of years ago they told me that the HI series was only made from 1973-76.
This cue is the HI-4 from that series. The shaft is still straight!
I have only seen two other HI series cues besides mine and they were for sale on ebay.

Here's an off the rack Huebler from the early 80's.
This one had the words "Cue by" and "Huebler" in black.
The shaft is still straight!
I really like the old Huebler cues myself. I don't think anyone in he late 70's and early 80's was getting the quality of shaft wood that paul Huebler was using.
As an example, I've probably seen 20 or more Joss cues from that era and almost none have retained straight shafts. (Not that a 68-72 Joss isn't a fine cue but there is no way you could convince me that they used the quality of shaft wood that Huebler was using.) The Michigan climate is hell on vintage cues.
I would let the checkered Huebler go for about $200 but I'm a bit attached to the 73-76. I would need a lot more that cue.
