[update posted at end of thread]
I have a Huebler with a crack in the joint collar (I misspoke earlier by calling it the butt collar... so much to learn!). I'm wondering about how much it should cost to repair, what kind of Huebler I have (model, age, what kind of wood,...), and about how much it might be worth... I enjoy playing with it, so I'll probably have it repaired regardless (within reason), but I'd like to know more about the cue...
The pictures were too large to post on the forum, so I've put them up on Picasa:

I found a somewhat similar problem in another thread:
http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=114515&highlight=huebler
But that damage looked a little more extensive than mine... but maybe not, as far as repairs are concerned?
Also, are there any recommendations for somebody to repair it in the Denver area, or should I send it somewhere to be fixed?
Thanks for putting up with my novice questions... I love to play pool, but don't know much about cues. --Liz
