there must be somebody on the forum that
would be the middleman and make sure both cues are the way they were.
You don't trust him(for good reason) and he doesn't trust or maybe like
you would be a better word.Hell,I would tell you guys to send the cues to me but I live in Canada.I would ship them at my own expense so you guys could resolve this.I'm not saying your wrong but if he wants a middleman
than do it as long as he's paying there shouldn't be a problem. If you really do like that cue, ship the shaft to me and I'll have it redone for you at
no expense to you and it'll look fantastic.
Think about it,if you want to keep it.Takecare Scott
Scott,
I have a few friends that are skilled cue builders (I'm not saying your not skilled) that would handle this issue for me..The repair isn't the issue..My issue is I'm not, or never was, or never will be interested in cues that are not in ORIGINAL condition in other words projects..Whenever I engage in a transaction I ask a lot of questions to make sure a cue hasn't been altered..I asked Huy a lot of questions, and he failed to disclose the peeling (which is his responsibility as a seller)..
If huy would of disclosed the peeling I would of passed on the cue, and we wouldn't be in this situation.... My options are trading back, or Huy sending me 200.00 to have Joe Gold re-taper both shafts so they are a match set (Joe Golds recommendation), and to help cover shipping to and from Joe..Huy has done nothing to make me whole..I do appreciate your generosity, but it's not an option I would consider..
