I -64 bridge out

I was there at Thanksgiving and it was out. Not sure now but I think it is down.

Bridge is closed till March...

Coming from Louisville:

64 West towards Downtown

Take the 3rd Street Exit, and go through the stop light

Turn left onto Main Street

Turn left onto 2nd Street

Continue straight (through 2 lights) and onto the 2nd Street Bridge

Once you cross the Bridge into Indiana, follow the I-65 / US-31 signs

Slight right onto Old Indiana 62 --- Brown’s Station Way into New Albany

This will turn into Spring Street. Take Spring Street to State Street and turn left.

Take State Street to Main Street (Route 111) and turn right.

Follow 111 to the casino.

Optional routes to the Horseshoe while the I-64 Bridge is closed.
If coming from Kentucky, Tennessee, or if you are coming in by I-71 from Ohio… anywhere south of here -

Take I-65 North - across the Kennedy Bridge

Take exit # 1 (Stansifer Ave exit) this turns into Brown Station Way/Old Indiana 62.

Follow this as it becomes East Spring Street in New Albany.

Follow this to State Street. Take a left onto State Street and follow to Main Street( Route 111)

Turn right on Main Street this turns into 111 and goes right to the casino

Hope this helps.

You forgot to say EXPECT DELAYS . It took us 2 hours to get over the I65 bridge. But that was Thanksgiving and they had a wreak on the bridge.

herd the bridge was out to get across the river to the casino ....... any 1 know

Another hint, for anyone traveling cross country through St. Louis: the MO highway folks have been shutting down I64 at the Poplar Street Bridge that crosses the river down by the Arch almost every weekend now for road work. If you're traveling east bound the signs will tell you to detour to 170 and then to 70. But if you just get off at Market Street, take a left at Tucker and then a Right on Washington you can cross via the Eads Bridge and will only lose 5 or 10 minutes.

You can bypass downtown STL
