I barely got 4 hours of sleep last night...

For hours I couldn't fall asleep. Tossing and turning, pool shots banging 7 rails around my brain. 8 hours at a table yesterday... And it's no where near enough. I want more, I need it!

So many shots I don't know. And all I need is practice and they'll be mine in no time. I've got my beautiful cuetec with the r360, some paper hole reinforcements and a ruler. Let me get at that table!

I know a place, owned by a nice guy, with some good tables, great beer and some gamblers. But they're gonna have to wait, because first I'm gonna shoot this one shot for about an hour, and the next one for two... And I'll keep shooting until I figure out how to stop missing.

And when I've got something new in my tool belt, I'll find a game against the best around. They'll beat me, but not by as much as last time. And next time they'll get even less. Before they know it I'll be running circles around them!

Now if only I can get out of this damn office early! How the hell am I supposed to do paperwork when there's so many racks to run.

I feel your need to play. Its all I think about now. Luckily I can at least watch YouTube of pool while bored at work.

Oh man I know exactly how you feel, its all I can think about sometimes. Luckily we bought a table at work a couple months ago now its so hard to not go over to the table every damn 30 mins.

LOL.

I've had nights where I couldn't fall asleep at all. The balls just never stop. They keep rolling and rolling and rolling, and colliding into one another, and hitting the back of the pocket....on and on it goes.

Im in the same boat, im addicted! I find my self working on psr while in bed, in my head of course, experimenting different bridges with my hand while sitting on the couch, then my wife looks at me like im crazy. Im obsessed.

I know this thread is supposed to be about an obsession with pool, striving for perfection, however you said the words beautiful, Cuetec, and paper hole reinforcements, all in the same sentence.
Either you are not in this for the sport, or you need a pool mentor><

Check out the girls in the office, I think you might be obsessing about the wrong rack...

I'm like 10 years younger then the youngest lady in the office... And she's married... No I think I got the right racks in mind!

You sure? Cougars really know the ropes, now what I mean? Married does not equal dead, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with doing a little window shopping, it's good for the yang

Found an 1p app... It just makes me want to make a run for it, right out the front door, peel out on the way to the nearest pool hall!

I keep trying to talk my boss into a table for the shop. I even told him how it can generate income and that I will run the tournaments etc...
If I dont play every night on my home table I feel like I am missing something.

True story:
I worked for a particular company, meh, maybe 14 years ago in Chicago downtown. And part of my job entailed visiting with my clients, in their offices, each week.

So one day I get informed that we have a new client over at blah blah skyscraper over on blah blah street and I will have to be at their offices every day, for six hours each day, for a month. Am I thrilled? Um, no.

So as I should, I show up at the appointed time and the client gives me a tour of their offices. We strolled down hall after hall of offices for this, offices for that, and then BAM

Before my eyes appears the most beautiful sight a man at work could ever see.....

Not just a break room, but a break suite...with couches, televisions, a full gourmet kitchen with crazy features like an indoor grill, a blender, and a full rack of pots hanging over the butcher block. A wine chiller. A shot machine.( liquor ) and a coke machine that was stocked with beer.( 50 cents)

Oh but that doesn't cover it all.

Against the wall was a KISS (the band) pinball machine, next to pac-man and Galaga, with a mint condition Brunswick Centennial table in the middle of the room, with 12 individual track lights hanging overhead.

"Damn" I thought to myself, " if I had only brought a cue" , which is when I noticed that on the other wall, there was a cue rack, holding a couple dozen personal cues being held in place for various employees with their name on plaques beneath each space for a cue.

Next to that was a 1979 rockola, full of rock songs from 1979.

Breathless and in a slight state of shock I said to my tour guide:
" wow. This is nice"

He said calmly:
" yep. It is"

After I picked my jaw up off the floor, and wiped the drool from my chin, he said

"This is where most of the work gets done actually. People just go back to their offices to make phone calls, that's about it. "

I said:

" are you hiring? "

Crack for this poolplayer:
