I bought a KONLLEN Amazon CF cue to try

FWIW, I got the J Flowers cues (player and a break cue) for $600. I LOVE them. It's all I play with now. Going to get a 2nd as a backup.

I'm working on editing a video I shot last night.

In short: the cue deflects more than a predator shaft. Not a lot more, but enough that they are not equivalent. So my goal of being able to leave it in the car and switch to it when I'm out and about might not work. There is a tiny amount of wobble in the shaft, about a credit card thickness difference in the light gap as rolled. The butt rolls straight. The fitment of all the parts and joint is right on. There were a few polishing blemishes in the finish of the butt, but not really noticeable unless you look carefully.

I'd say the cue is worth the money if you want a CF shaft. But it won't be a good choice if you are coming from the Predator system (which I have firmly been in since I believe it was 1998 or 1999).

USPS says delivered, but no delivery. I guess it will be delivered “again” tomorrow.
Roughly ten years back I ordered a break shaft from a member on this forum.

When it didn't arrive, I checked the tracking number and it was stuck in California.

The next day I called USPS and they confirmed it was in California.

The next day it arrived.

The next day USPS contacted me to tell me that the post office in question could not find it on the premises.

I checked the tracking number, and not said it was still in California.

Whenever the USPS would come up, I would check the tracking number again.

It was stuck in California for a few years after I had received iy.

I have a few people at my regular place that are asking about what cues to look at, I think I will recommend one of these to them. Quite a few have been looking at the Revo and Ignite shafts me and my son and a few others are using (most were gotten from us or because someone tried ours) but no way can I recommend a shaft for $400 even used to a newer player LOL This looks like a great place to start with learning about high tech shafts.

Yeah, I really don't see anything wrong with it (to me) except the aim is different than Predator. They have a version for $300 shipped as well. The only thing that is a little off-putting is the warp in the shaft. But from what I've read of other CF shaft review on here, that is common except for the Revo shafts, which are dead straight.

That little bit of warp isn't going to hurt anything. Nice looking cue for the $.

Funny story about leaving cues in cars. I had 3 different shafts over the course of 15+ years of playing before switching over to CF. A standard maple, a 314, and a Z2.

Through most of that time, I almost always left my cues in my car, and mind you I live in Florida where it's hot and humid AF.

But I never had a single issue with warping.

I had trouble with leaving my cue in the car. It got super hot, 109F (Denver back before the latest round of global cooling) and the stain melted and ran off the cue leaving a weird pattern. And it warped.

I took it to showcase billiards and Clay would not believe that I didn't get it wet. He thought there was no way heat alone could have done that.

It was a Mali. No points.

To close the loop on this, I ended up returning the cue a few days after the review. I had no complaints, it just deflected more than a 314, so that was a step backward for me.

I ended up getting a Revo 12.9 last week. I do like it a lot better than the JFlowers. Not convinced yet I will stick with it, or stay with the tried and true 314 series. I'm putting it through its paces now.
