I cant make up my mind on which rail rubber to use?

I've asked a couple of table mechanics about which rail rubber to use but I would like a couple more opinions. I understand Artemis and Accufast are the best in that order but I was told that the Tour Edition played extremely well. I use to play on Master K-66 and always thought that played as accurate and fast as any. I would appreciate any input.

I'll pass on this one, because K55, K66 and Accufast are NOT interchangeable without first seriously changing the rails to adapt the different rubber, and in most cases...you only get one chance to do that, if you're lucky.

PS. This is deep water here folks, not for amateurs.

If you're going to change rubber, then put on the Artemus k55 intercontinental rubber...you can't use the accufast rubber unless you want to plane down the thickness of your rails to 1 1/2" thick which will not happen...trust me.

I just had my rails cut on my Brunswick Centennial to accept Artemis #66. The rubber is installed and covered but I won't have my table together for a few weeks. Stay tuned.....

Well the Artemis K-55 sounds like it might be the ticket but dose anyone have info on the Tour Edition I believe its made in China. The table mechanic I spoke to said that it played and held up really good.

On my own table I've had Brunswick K55 superspeeds, tour edition K55s and Muellers brand K55s for 39.95 over the course of two years. To me they all played very similar to each other, and tested within inches of one another on my ball ramp test, sorry I dont have the results anymore,so I would chose whatever your budget allows in a K55 profile and surely fresh rubber will play better than what you have now .

Thanks for the info. It's funny that you have something to measure the speed of your rails I did the same thing like for golf greens I believe they call theirs a stint meter.
