My advise for you is short and sweet.
1. Don't let anything come between you and your education.![]()
2. If you have questions ask the pro's in the pro section.
3. You have an ignore list put drivermaker, sjm, white wolf and CaptainJR or anyone else on it that doesn't treat you with respect. The billiard forum windbags are nothing but handicap league players who couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a base fiddle with out there sand bags.![]()
4. Stay out of the main forum as so many people in it are spam handlers or know nothings. Ask your questions of JoeT, Bob Jewett, Bludd, Pelican, Grady, Colin Colenso, Fast Larry, Charlie Williams or Hemicudas. People who have played and studied pool for years and will have respect for you no matter your age.
5. If you have questions about how to handle pool and school I will put you in touch with Ms. Tiffany Nelson who has played pool since she was 12 years old and is now a beautiful young lady with a university degree and is spokes women for the the BCA Juinor Program.
6. Most important of all don't ever give up your dreams. With hard work they will all come true.
Sincerely,
"Gremlin"![]()
LMAO as usual at the Gremlin...actually there is some very good advice here.
#1; #2; #4; #5; and #6 is good. Therefore I suggest that you PM EACH one of them for advice, along with Gremlin, any time you need personal assistance and help. I'll bet each of them can't wait to hear from you and lead you down the right path. In addition to that, you can go to the following sites that have forums without "meanies" like us:
www.billiards-pool.net
www.insidepool.com and www.billiardsdigest.com On here, you can search the old posts and archives until you reach 25 years of age because all of the questions have been asked and answered. They're all here already right here for the taking.
#3 is a real hoot and knee slapper, especially since SJM is probably one of the most articulate and classiest guys on here, not to speak any less of my two other partners in crime. Personally, I've never belonged to a league in my life. I've played for money in my 44 years of pool playing and broke guys like Gremlin so that they NEVER wanted to come back. Hey, maybe I did...that's why he turned into a groupie with a camera. LOL
