That's great John, but are you sure you want to keep her as your avatar while you have a thread with this title going???;)

LMAO!
For once I'm ashamed to admit I was more interested in a post than in the avatar......
I'm sending myself to my room now!

why is it a bad thing for the balls to bang into each other? Seems like they spend most of their life doing that anyways.
I'm not sure if there are any ill effects. I don't think they make the ball roll or play any different and you can only see the marks if you pick up a ball and look closely.

believe me im the king of wanting the balls to play clean.also it weighs about 6 pounds.,

ROTFLMAO!!!

John,

I was giving a class last night at a local pool hall here in Orlando. The balls were absolutely filthy - ugly dirty - you would have had a heart attack!

The student noted that I sounded as if I preferred "perfect equipment" - and my response was...

"If you think I'm being picky about the balls being dirty, you should see John Schmidt and Danny Harriman..." lol

You're ears must have been ringing, man.

All of a sudden I had this visual of you and Danny at TAR Challenge - you applying the Aramith Ball Cleaner to the balls with a cotton ball, and Danny wiping them off - and then both of you thoroughly inspecting all 16 balls prior to them rolling on the cloth.

LOL!!!

In the past, JoeW, Mattman, and others have designed some pretty cool home made ball cleaners. All of you should get together and start your own company!

Here my old thread "homade carom ball polisher", plus a german ball polisher on ebay that gave me the design idea. Numerous patents can be found by doing a google patent search

John, as the old thread stated $300 to $600 with time and material good deal. So a $100 got to be an outstanding deal. Again Good luck.

I can' t for the life of me think why you even leave the house.

By the way, I heard Quentin Hann say he could make a 17 ball polisher for $99.99.
