I thought the payouts were attractive. Unfortunately I was unable to advertise quick enough to get enough people to show up Tuesday so we did not have it. I'm going to try again Friday night. I wish I knew the best way to get people there.

First I am happy for you, it is great to work at something you love. Since you have a passion for this my guess is you will be successful at it. Second: run the tournament no matter what , the worst thing you can do is say " there is not enough so we will not have one tonite " this sends out unhappy people who did show up. It will grow week by week. A good friend started a 9 ball Tournament and in the beginning would draw 6 - 8 players, I would tell him this was a waste of time , but he put them on anyway. It turned out he was right little by little his Tues. tournament grew into 30 - 40 players. Keep us posted on this, and again congratulations.
 
Just curious but did you start a facebook page or does the pool room you're at have their own? If not get one. It's crazy how fast stuff can spread around there.
