Can anyone help identify this wood? It is from Hawaii.
I apologize for the type of attachments have yet to figure out how to post the actual picture to the post. If someone will be so kind as to let me know how this can be done it would be greatly appreciated.

It's blistered koa. Pretty stuff. Looks like some of the harder variety, which is very stable & strong, can be used without coring.

That one looks like it will need a lot of offset .
