I hate garage sales

But this one I had to make an exception. I bought a drum sander off this guy a month ago. I had to go back for the wood. The 15" Grizzly isn't too bad either. :)

Nice find. As I'm driving past a garage sale I'm telling myself keep driven, keep driven. Then a mile or so I'm second guessing myself.

I've wasted so much gas over the last 5 years chasing after good deals at auctions and yard sales, I'm almost at the point where buying new would have been much cheaper. I guess it's the thrill of the hunt that makes me stop at the sales when I see them.

I hate garage sales because I'm constantly driving around people in no parking zones. Why do they think just because there's a sale they can park like idiots?

I was lucky enough to catch this one on craigs list 2.5 hours away looking for a drum sander. When I drove up for the sander, I went off on the 15" Grizzly with the carbide blade and precision fence. We got talking and the stash of wood came up. Just built a shelf in my paint room to unload my truck since I'm running out of space. This stuff has been sitting for ever so I can't wait to chew it up.

On another note, I just got a letter from my electric company stating I'm 70% higher than my neighbors. I can't imagine why?

At 70% higher they were probably thinking about a grow room not a cue room.-LOL--Leonard

great find on the wood deal too

Jeez I never thought of that possible 70%. I'm sure it can't be our two fridges, 1 freezer, hot tub, tanning bed, central air like a deep freeze, year round exterior lighting that would make Clark Grizwald proud, and my favorite 4 TV's for 3 people that always seem to be on. Other than that we're pretty conservative until you turn on my cue equipment.
