Tim Scruggs
Tim Scruggs Cue This is a Tim Scruggs cue that was reported to have belonged to Larry Liscotti at one time.forums.azbilliards.comSchick Cues
Here are a couple of Schick Cues. The bottom one was built in 1979 and I think the other one was built in the 90's as it has the Ivory "S" in the end of the pin as it's signature.forums.azbilliards.comOld Schon Cue
This early 80's Schon was my personal playing cue in part of the 80's before I started building cues. It has the old brown joint collars and has several extra shafts. The guy who originally had it built wanted to try every shaft from 12 to 13.5 in 1/4 mm increments. It even has a shorter masse...forums.azbilliards.com
If the truth be told, there is more work in that cue than any other being offered. They truly built those by hand 100% from scratch. All the while keeping track of all those points and veneers without You tube or cue building books No leather wrap guides, No computer programs, and so on, Plus it's still straight and tight on it's way to 50 years old . What a fantastic testament to Richard Helmstetter. I hope Dick is is well? I have such a great respect for his pioneering accomplishments in cue building. I hear he dabbled in golf a bit too?I dunno if this fits in yer spectrum, & I'm only on the fence about parting with it
I'm also no expert and aren't sure of its value...I was actually looking around for the right place to ask in here
It's in fantastic condition, none of the degradation I've read about with these, and I'm quite sure it's all original & unrestored
It's only got a few very minor dings & scratches, aand I really don't believe it's been played very much at all
I've owned it for over 20 yrs, and probably haven't even used it a dozen times
It's always been stored in its case, which has always in my bedroom with me, standing perfectly vertically in the corner
Sorry these aren't the greatest pics, site doesn't take the 1st ones I took, and am short on time now
...can take more pics if anyone wants, when I have a l'il more time later
Indeed, agreed, so kind of you to say...thanks for that buddy. I have truly loved this cue, since before it even came to be mineIf the truth be told, there is more work in that cue than any other being offered. They truly built those by hand 100% from scratch.
