I have it, Do you?

Too much shit continued.. How to sell everything together? Cues & cases. Someone to buy you out? Lay everything out and ask for a price? How does the buyer/seller work out the transaction? Obviously the buyer wants to see everything, The seller is not taking a check from a stranger. Just curious. How would you hoarders sell your collection in bulk?

COTBH. Cash On The Barrel Head. In any event it isn't hard to work out payment these days, Venmo, Zelle, Paypal etc. Usually you know ahead of time roughly what the cost will be in discussions with the seller or an asking price to start negotiating.

If you want top dollar for everything or are trying to squeeze every nickel out of each item then you are in it for the LONG haul and may never get rid of it all. Throw it out there at a good price and it will be gone, done, and forgotten in no time. Move on!

I have so much pool stuff, cues that are very desirable but not perfect, tons of extra shafts that are playable but not perfectly straight, gobs of scuffers and accessories that just aren't worth taking pictures of and trying to sell individually. Cues that you just don't care about but don't feel like messing with even though they really are pretty cool. I have some Huebler stuff for example that's rather nice... but not something I want to photo and explain and deal with so I'll probably die with it. I keep thinking someday I may put it all in a giant box and sell it all as a lot, But I never do. How bout you?
Yep. I'm good at collecting things, but not good at selling them.

I limit my collection mainly to fancy sneakies and collectible cases, and I tend to sell them as I move on to something else. I also waver between 1x2s and bigger cases, so that when I think I want a separate case for each cue, I sell off the larger cases. I may always have a few more of each than I need, but not too many more. Good examples are my second Steve Price case and a custom leather JB 3x6. I already had one Steve Price that I use as an everyday carry and didn't need a second, but couldn't pass it up. That will probably come up for sale at some point. Same with the JB 3x6 since I'm again leaning towards individual cases.

OMG you just described mine!!!
To follow up on this, I have a list with pictures in my safety deposit box and with my will on the cues that are actually worth anything. I don't really expect my heirs get great money out of it but they won't give stuff away.
I've thot about this, but why deprive some future player a chance to buy one of your babies from say, your daughter who is clueless about value?? You might tell her to look into prices B4 selling all of Dad's goodies, but chances are she'll be so distraught that money will be the last thing on her mind.
At least if I did my job, I can hope.😂

Perish the thought!!! A task of that magnitude can only be dumped on Family. Like last minute moving help.😉

I feel the same way, and now it’s in temperature controlled storage in the United States I a separate anxiety!,😱😱 I want to go back and have it moved TODAY,!!!, but I can’t so I will have to bide my time until I can!

This sucks!!🥵🥵🤣
Hey Manwon, I'll relieve you of all that stress in one fell swoop!!!
Just gimme an address.😉

Now that it looks like recent spinal surgery, fusing the c-3,c4,c5,and c6 vertebrae, my playing days are pretty much over. I had a nice young caregiver named Ethan...gave him a cheap Taiwan made sneaky and an equally cheap case I hadn't played with in years....At his next visit, he thanked me profusely...said having his own cue allowed him to beat his dad for the first time. Actually it didn't play bad, good maple shaft, and I gave it Talisman tip.

That made an otherwise pretty much crappy day a bit brighter.
Good luck with the recoup!!👍🏻

Are we Hoarders or Collectors 😂.? I have more shit than brains. My stuff will remain
in the closet until I croak. My wife
will most likely throw everything out to give her more hoarding space
I call myself somewhat of a collector, bcuz hoarder sounds tacky. But if you've got so much pool crap you can't remember it all, you're an H buddy. Admit it. Takes some of the pain away.😂
I'm screwed bcuz Breast Cancer stole mine from me after 32 awesome years, so looks like after me, the plies will get dumped on my unlucky girls.
Dad's been disappointing them forever anyway, so why break trend??😂
