I may regret this....

I put pics of some of my latest in the sticky thread a couple of days ago. I've had no comments there, so I thought I'd post them here.

The first one I made for a buddy of mine. His wife's nickname is Boo and her birthday is Halloween. Ebony forearm and butt sleeve and dyed maple handle.

This next one is a wrapless I made for a fellow AZer. Kiattwood forearm, birdseye handle and rosewood butt sleeve.

Good work. You should be proud.

Very Nice work.

Don't regret it, the cues look great. And from what a little bird told me - your pricing is amazing for the work. Love to see more of it. Do you take custom orders? And what skills have you acquired in the cuemaking arts? Knowing this might have others banging on your door to have you build them a cue.

The cues look very nice, and the owners will be very proud.

I would be very proud to be able to say I made any cue. Nice job, keep up the good work and I'm sure your only going to get better.

Those are neat looking cues, good job. The BOO cue handle reminds me of a Mottey break cue I saw with a phenolic wrap.

I do it 'cause I enjoy it!

My cuebuilding is like therapy. No matter how hectic things get, I can go out in my shop and lose myself for hours. Selling them is just a way to keep them from filling up the house. My prices are just a way of recouping material costs and maybe to put a little away for that next piece of equipment.

I had one guy contact me about a custom order. We traded e-mails for weeks. I explained what woods I had on-hand that were ready. He wanted pictures of my entire wood supply. We went round-and-round on the design details till he was satisfied. I finally quoted him a price of $225 or $250 and I never heard from him again. For that reason, I don't exactly take custom orders. That experience was kind of a PITA and I don't really want this to become a "JOB". I had one of those. Didn't care for it:p

I'll have a few more ready in the next week or so. Two of them are my first shot at veneered points. I'll post pics when they're done and hopefully, they will appeal to someone!

BTW, thanks for the comments on my work!
