I need a rod of LBM ferrule material

Hello all, I need a rod or at least 2 feet of lbm ferrule material (preferrably from atlas). They are out of stock on rod at the moment. I am going to come up short for the shafts for the superbilliard expo. Please let me know if anyone has some they will part with. Thanks Chris. 720 206 4034

I looked on prathers website but was not sure if they use the same manufacture or not. I was hoping to use the same stuff. Chris.

From the LBM ferrules I got, Prather's were better that Atlas.
Atlas had pits and had black spots.
The thread configuration were different too.
Atlas gets theirs from Spaulding while Prather I think gets theirs from another maker.

After doing some research I beleive Prather also gets their LBM from Spaulding. I hope their newer batch or ferrule material is as clean as their previous batch. BTW, on a lagre order Norplex-Micarta wanted more per foot to manufacture rolled and molded .562 LBM rod than Prather charges retail!

I have been using the lbm rod from atlas for several years and have been lucky as far as inclusions. I haven't really had a problem with pits for a while. One rod I got around to years ago practicly fell apart when tryint to drill and tap it. I will check out prathers stuff on my next order.
I looked into having some made but the price was not worth it unless ordering tons of it. I may try to put together a group buy in the future when my medical bills are all done. Chris.
