Well as some of you know I have been in the billiards business one way or another for a number of years. For the past two years I have been working as a Marketing Director for a company outside the industry. In the 2 years with them I was able to bring their annual revenue from $800k to $1.3 Million. a couple of weeks ago they were made an offer to sell and they took it. The new company are bringing in their own people so we all know what that means. Yup I am unemployed.
I want to be in the Pool and Billiards business, that's where my passion is. If anyone has any tips or can point me in the right direction of someone who may be looking for someone for marketing and promotions please let me know. Again most of you know me and would know if there is a fit. Thanks in advance for any help, advise or just pointing in the right direction. Oh, I am in Arizona and relocating is not an option really but I have done very well working from home. I can back that up.

I figured a Gofundme I'm unemployed would not go well :) just kidding.

Your possess a proven track record in business development and I hope prospective employers in the billiard industry reach out to explore possible employment opportunities.....self-motivated, talented people are becoming pretty scarce nowadays........best of luck with your search efforts.

You know where the money is in pool, Mark. It is the pool leagues. Find your niche in one of those organizations.

CSI was looking for a marketing manager a couple of weeks ago - might be a natural fit.

Thank you Tex, I am aware of that and I know Mark G pretty good. He came to my wedding in fact. I believe the position they were looking to fill was to be at the office on a daily basis. They are in Vegas and I am in Phoenix and so it would not be possible I'm afraid. but thank you for the suggestion and going out of your way to respond. It is appreciated.

Well it works for one person anyway.

I agree! With a proven track record, you should be able to combine your passion alongside your expertise.

Thank you all for your pointers and PM's. Also the kind words. By the way the last thing I need to do is go in the spandex direction. :)
