I got this 9' table, 50X100 playing surface, for 500 and I need to replace the return pockets but dont know what brand it is. The only thing on the table is a brass place that has a script CM on it. No other part numbers or marks anywhere. It has a 1" marble bed, solid wood skirt, wire ball return.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Carolyn

You may want to post this in the "Talk to a Mechanic" section of the forum. The real pro's are there and may be able to id the table.

No, I bought it in New Jersey. The older lady said her husband use to own a pool hall and this was bought back around 1960. When the pool hall went out of business 20 years ago he brought this table home with him.

Looks like a Gold Crown III with the Brunstone slates. I'm guessing its Brunswick all the way. Go to a Brunswick dealer near you.

Jay, we thought the same when we first saw it but it isnt. The bed is Marble not brunstone. This table was built in 1960 and the GC didnt come out until 1961. We got and print out the construction directions for the GC3 and though there are some simularities, there is way to much different. Plus there are no parts numbers on anything, we had it completely apart, and I read the GC had numbers on the base.

It's a Gold Crown knock off, possibly made by Cue Master from Kentucky. If not them someone like them.

Maybe it could be a Brunswick Medalist?

Not a Medalist. They had one piece side rails. This has the castings at the side pockets ala Gold Crown. It's one of the many Gold Crown knock offs made in the 60's and 70's. It could even have some GC parts. I've seen tables that used actual GC corner & side castings that someone made a table around them. Cue Master made a lot of knock offs. Their "Kentucky Colonel" was essentially a knock off. They also made some tables with marble instead of slate.

Thank you again, Sherm. Can't find much out about Cue Master. We knew it was a knock off but just couldnt find who's knock off. The marble bed really threw us. It plays like a dream. Wonderful table. We used bondo on the seams and it spead so nice. One rail the glue had come off so we reglued that and the rubber is really nice. Was probably replaced at some point and time. I just need to refinish the skirts and ball return and it will look brand new. Thanks again for everyones feed back.
Carolyn
