I need help to evaluate a set of balls

A cue salesman described a cue's inlays to me as "bone-ivory". Red flags were flying all over. FAKE. FAKE. FAKE.

Ivory is a special case now. For example, Ebay does not permit ivory items to be offered, so sellers have taken to calling them some kind of bone. One ivory ball -- very clearly ivory in the picture -- has the added note "please note that the ball is made of clay and not ivory".

So.... some people know that what they have is ivory but they call it something else.

And here is a set of actual ivory balls offered as "ivory color".

Downtown LA or SF or for that matter, any city or town in CA?

FYI.....the pool tables in CA's prisons are in decent .condition,
except for some blood stains here and there that slows the roll.
