I have a cue that needs to be re-wrapped and having a really hard time finding anyone.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

If you do not mind shipping it...Seyberts is 1st class. However shipping costs add up. (tube, UPS).

Chris Nitti can do anything you want, he has put tips on, tapered, and installed leather and linen wraps for me. He does a great job with reasonable prices. His number is
407-380-6121 He lives in south Orlando, close to Dean Rd and Colonial. Hope this helps. Tom

Not for nothing, but considering the OP wanted someone in Central Florida, it seems that he doesn't want to be shipping his cue anywhere if he doesn't need to. Murray Tucker is only 25 miles from the guy. And the OP only wants a rewrap.

I can understand suggesting someone closer than Tucker Cue Works, but farther isn't making any sense to me. But, I'm a simple guy.

Murray for cue repair? I feel like I should send him some $ just coz I read that.

I don't think one could do any better than him.

I do quite a bit of repairs for the locals but I really don't advertise it. Problem is I don't do it while they wait. They drop off at my office and can pick up when done. Simple stuff is generally overnight.

I was not sure if Chris did repair work or not but he would be a great choice also. Especially if he can work it out so that he can wait on it.

Thanks for not asking me to send $!:embarrassed2:;):D

I certainly did not want to infer that Chris or Wayne were somehow less capable.

But you, Murray...are a wood Yoda. That was meant to be complimentary.

As per above Mr Tucker offered his service, I dont see how you can go wrong with him doing the work.

I have heard nothing but good about Mr Tucker's work.

Murray is the only way to go as far I am concerned. He is THE best cue maker I have ever worked with and is a genuinely honest guy.

Mike,

I'm in Clermont as well, and you can't go wrong with Murray Tucker or Chris Nitti. Chris has made all my custom cues and does a tremendous job with everything he touches. Super great guy and always takes time to talk to you, even if he's busy. I can't say enough nice things about him and the work he does.

Murray is a legend and has done a few tip replacements and a couple of rewraps (one Schon and one Fury) for me when I was playing at Franks in Leesburg a few years ago. My friend is Murray's neighbor and I was fortunate enough to get to tour Murray's shop a while back. Murray spent a good 45 minutes talking about and touring his shop with me. Like he had nothing better to do, but I know he did, because he left the party my friend was having to show me the shop.

Like I said two great cue guys that do great work.

Hope it helps.

I realize my reply was off course...it was in case all else fails. Currently I'm in S. Florida and I'll keep Murray T. in mind if I need work done.
