I'm looking for a promotional poster or flyer from the 2010 Dutch National 9 Ball Championships. The best I've been able to do so far is a thread result on AZ mentioning the semi-finals in the streaming sub forum.

If such material exists, I'm sure somebody on AZ knows where to find it. JAM probably has pictures.

Please help, even if you can only find a digital advertisement suitable for printing. Thanks in advance!

LOL! I was vacationing in Fiji during this one. :grin-square:

The only thing I can find via a brief Google search is that Niels Feijen won the 2010 Rotterdam Open. I cannot locate anything entitled "Dutch National 9-Ball Championships." :(

I thought America had a very poor archival system for pool's history, but Europe's pool archives is worse, believe it or not. :o


If I find it later, I will be back. :)
 
Thanks for the efforts JAM! I unfortunately have no alternate ideas for names or any info at all, really. What I do know is that I'm interested in buying a really cool 9 ball that was printed like a lottery ball. They were purported to have been used at the 2010 Dutch 9 ball national championships, which were sponsored by the Dutch Lottery.
The ball is cool to look at, but if I buy it I want to display it with something that gives context to what it is.

I am pretty sure this is a press release for the tournament you are speaking of. http://www.knbb.nl/pool/0/nieuws/1463/lotto-nk-pool-gaat-van-start/ The site probably has some point of contact who can put you in contact with someone who can get you what you need. One email address I found was info@knbb.nl.

I believe the event was held at House of Billiards - Weert. http://www.hobweert.nl/content.php They might also have some information..

And last but not least, I believe this was sponsored by the Dutch Lotto - https://www.lotto.nl

I couldn't get to this last site from work, but there ought to be some contact info on the site, and you'll just need to follow up and find an english speaking employee, if you don't speak Dutch.

Russ, the owner of HOB-Weert is who I'm dealing with, and it was held there. He's going to look for an old poster.
I either submitted my question on the Dutch lottery website yesterday, or I'm signed up for something. The google translation of the web page was suspect, lol. There were enough familiar syllables on the page that came up after I submitted... well, whatever it was I submitted... that I think it was a success.

I'll take a look at the press release, thanks very much!
