Hey folks, i'm thinking about putting a white leather or lizard wrap on a cue, if you happen to have pictures of white wraps please post for me.

thanks everyone,

Craig

i have a piece of white leather ive been wanting to put on a cue i just havent found one that would look right to put it on yet.

White Wild Scotch Grain. There is a photo of it at my site www.superiorcues.com. Feels real good on the hand and looks good. Will last a long time. I looked high and low before I was satisfied with white leather for cues. As you might know, I supply many of America's finest cuemakers with cue leather. Thanks, Martin

I saw a cue once that had a white ringtail lizard wrap on it that got a lot of play...that wrap looked kinda nasty after a while. Would be okay on a cue that doesn't see much play.

Anyone know how well this white leather will hold up? Will it get ugly fast?

thanks,

it would if I used it, I have wet hands and I chalk with both hands so everything is blue. I think its better for fancy safe queens than player cues.

Whatever you get, Have Steve Lomax put it on!!!

Whatever you decide as far as wraps, Steve Lomax gets my vote for the best wrap installer in the business!

Here is a cool cue with a smooth white wrap.

It's called "The Stiletto" by Richard Chudy.

Just awesome!!!

If you dont abuse your equipment and you dont hold the chalk with your wrap hand, you'll have no problems at all. IMO, you'll get considerably more wear with the wild scotch bullhide than ringtail lizard. This leather is made for shoes and belts. It's from Spain. Maybe once or twice a year you could hit it with neutral wax type shoe polish and buff.

Thw wrap is pictured at my site. Beyond that, I seldom track the cues with my cue leather on it and Ariel has not used a white one yet. With a little imagination, you'll have an idea of what it will look like. It is a classic non-directional grain. Over and out.
