someone mentioned shortening my bridge to cue ball distance and
tightening my grip with the bridge hand

I tried this and experienced a big improvement on draw shots and i also use it for
most shots where i need control

i never knew anything about pool that I didn't just figure out myself

It was very helpful to pick this up

I wish i had the time left and playing opportunities
I would love to spend some time with Ray Martin

I've said that for ages and so has C.J. Wiley, but every time you say it some knocker comes along and says that isn't the way you're supposed to do it.

I say, "do whatever works for you". For me, a shorter bridge and a tighter grip is the way I play best.

"That isn't the way you're supposed to do it!"....Thats just one of many reasons why you never made it past a 'C' player!...:o

PS..You are no CJ Wiley! :sorry:

I'm big on a strong bridge hand....not tight on the cue...but welded to the table.
...it's like a right-handed golfer having a strong left side...it's your foundation...
...allows the stroking arm some freedom.

I've never said I was C.J. Wiley, I've just said that is what works best for me and he has said that is what works best for him.

You can easily tell the difference between C.J. Wiley and me...I have a better hat.
