I think i found the ultimate ball cleaner/polish

I'm an outta work A&P (airframe & powerplant mech). Just to let all know, pretty much ANY product certified by the FAA or military for use on aircraft windscreens WILL work great on 1) pool balls 2) pool shafts 3) eyeglasses 4) car windows, PROVIDED the product is used properly. If you wish to go really old school aviation, use "TOOTHPASTE". The "micro- mesh" screens used for shafts are a product used in aviation to remove scratches and swirls in wind screens by the way.

Thanks for the info, can you name a product that I can buy at a local store??

For balls?

Most of the aviation related products are going to be at aviation supply places. Also depends on if you just want to clean them or if there are scratches you want taken out. If it's just cleaning, liquid detergant and warm water will work. For scatches you need a polish and a polisher or the willingness to put a little elbow grease into it.
Toothpaste and newspaper to polish followed by cleaning in warm water will work fine but require more elbow grease than a productmade for the purpose.

A lot of people complain about how the aramith stuff is abrasive. That's because "MOST" of the time they should probably just be cleaning the balls instead of polishing them.
