I thought Earl is pretty much unbeatable on a 10 ft Table?

At least that's what many pundit's on the forum claimed after his match with SVB last year? Was Earl using his super long cue?

It wasn't even close. This young kid Landon Suffett took him to the woodshed.

I haven't seen the match yet. But I'm sure Earl was in a rather "pissy" mood by the time the last ball dropped?

That's exactly what we would expect from one of the most annoying people here.

Blah blah blah

But I haven't even seen it.

i believe it was earl who said he would be unbeatable on a 10 footer and wanted to match up with svb on one, if i remember correctly.

It was 1 bad match. Earl didn't play awful, he didnt even play good but he also didn't have many chances after the first 1/3 of the set. Landon played a fantastic clinical type of match. Give him credit.

As for Earl being a gentleman... Anyone who thinks that is def or simply had the volume off on their computer speakers. He was his usual POS whining and complaining self. He even gave up on that for the last few racks of the set when the outcome was obvious. Him being resigned to his fate does not make him a gentleman.

I've never been to a tournament where Earl was playing. Is there always a long line of his detractors waiting to play him for a lot of money at these tournaments?

Good one, Al.
There is more likely to be a line looking to see him warm up or listen to him
talk on many subjects.

I like to watch Earl. I really thought Landon would of let up some towards the end, but he just kept making all the shots. That young guy really shot a great match. Put me in shock and just shook my head and said "WOW."

People just don't understand Earl. He makes it fun to watch.

No, I'm talking about you.
You make comments on the match about how "Suffett" took him to the woodshed and how it wasn't even close, then in the next sentence say

YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE MATCH

Now, now, Greg. Don't you know the AZB Main forum is Pangit's Twitter? You know, one-liner "musings of the day" that have neither a question or an intent for discussion. Just like that line from that famous house music tune goes, "Whoomp! There it is."

He's seen the result, which I believe he was commenting on.

Who else is fun to watch? Drago, certainly. Anyone else?

He'll get all in your head

Earl is the master at pre-shot sharking ..
He'll whine, ridicule, and make excuses any chance he gets, also loves to blame the in house crowd for his screw ups,,it's like watching a mental patient every time he's @ the table....

He basically does everything short of of bringing in a marching band to distract, and throw off his opponent..

Granted he doesn't utter a word ,or move while his opponents @ the table, but when he's @ the table its all mind games, whoever's playing him is guaranteed to have to put up with a verbal onslaught of assualts..

Earl has no etiquette ,and is undoubtedly the least UN-Professional player ,in Professional Billiards..

Back to the thread topic,, Yes Landon beat the pants, shirt, and arm weights off old boy , and by doing so, he showed clearly, that Earl is hardly unbeatable ..

Good for you Landon..

it was Landon's day for sure. If they rematched I still would put my money on earl, but it was def Landon's day and he deserves it he played great and didnt let up. Earl is either really good, or really bad lol.

Maybe you should see the match before commenting.Earl may be a more complex person then just someone who gets "pissy" when losing.

Also, it was way past Earl's bed time.

It did get stared late. I guess they had to follow the schedule...I don't know.

I know both players were there and could of started a couple hours earlier.

I stayed up and watched and it was late. Guess not so late on the west coast....:frown:
