I thought Earl is pretty much unbeatable on a 10 ft Table?

No, I'm talking about you.
You make comments on the match about how "Suffett" took him to the woodshed and how it wasn't even close, then in the next sentence say

YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN THE MATCH

You dont need to watch it to know that Landon took him to the woodshed or that it was not close. The 15-4 score say it all.

...As for Earl being a gentleman... Anyone who thinks that is def or simply had the volume off on their computer speakers. ...

Here's a sampling of quotes or near quotes from Earl during his match with Landon:

- During the warmup, complaining about the late start: "They make the rules up as they go."

- To Landon, after an Earl miss in Game 2: "How lucky are you?"

- After Landon scratched on the break in Game 4: "(swearing) guys are all lucky."

- After Landon's break in Game 5: "I've never seen nothing like this -- can't get one stinking roll." (more swearing)

- In Game 7: "I don't even care, tell you the truth."

- In Game 8: (swearing) "That's all you all are is slow." (more swearing)

- In Game 11 after Landon missed the 7-ball: "It's your turn to win is all I know."

- In Game 15, referring to a skid Earl had in Game 5: "That's what won you the match -- that one shot."

- In Game 16, after Jay Helfert announced the current scores for all the 10-ball matches being played: "Mine's pretty much over, Jay. You don't need to announce mine any more."

- In Game 18 after Earl made a good shot on the 6-ball and Landon said "Nice shot": "Don't say that Landon; you don't mean it. ... You'll get yours. ... He slow racked me. ... I don't (swearing) care."

I'll admit to not having the sound on - so I missed the comments but Earl just wasn't playing his game. He was OFF. Not taking a thing away from Landon's play - he shot very, very well and stayed cool as a cucumber. But Earl left Earl the player at the motel.

That's exactly what we would expect from one of the most annoying people here.

Blah blah blah

But I haven't even seen it.

i consider you to be quite the Jackass yourself and you prove it to me each and every post you make on here going around and always laying your judgement out like your word means something on here! Jackass!

What was funny was that after Earl beat Shane he came out to the smoking area and spouted off about the 5x10 seperating the men from the boys. I guess when he played Landon it seperated the boys from the men.

LOL.

I think I seen Earl smoking a cigarette before. And he runs several miles a day?

Torched Shane??????? did you watch the match. He won 15 14 and shane was up 14 11 and missed a few easy outs to let him back. missed an easy seven ball at 14 13 that would have beat him. If hill hill is getting torched then I've had the wrong mentality about this game forever...... fail.

well he got that wish and tourched shane ,, but that table bared little resemblance to the tables they are playing on there

he was talking about the TAR match.

The match with Brandon was suppose to be at 9 pm, Then 11 then change to 12. They changed the times because of the one pocket finals. So it was three hours different.

Earl is the master at pre-shot sharking ..
He'll whine, ridicule, and make excuses any chance he gets, also loves to blame the in house crowd for his screw ups,,it's like watching a mental patient every time he's @ the table....

He basically does everything short of of bringing in a marching band to distract, and throw off his opponent..

Granted he doesn't utter a word ,or move while his opponents @ the table, but when he's @ the table its all mind games, whoever's playing him is guaranteed to have to put up with a verbal onslaught of assualts..

Earl has no etiquette ,and is undoubtedly the least UN-Professional player ,in Professional Billiards..

Back to the thread topic,, Yes Landon beat the pants, shirt, and arm weights off old boy , and by doing so, he showed clearly, that Earl is hardly unbeatable ..

Good for you Landon..

I couldn't say it better...and if anyone want's to defend Earl's perpetually bad conduct...then you are drinking his juice. What redeeming quality does Earl have other than playing pool? I'm sure his Mother Loves him. He is not Socially palatable to most level headed people. Seriously, why do so many people worship him?

Because he can play pool good once in awhile?

If you add about 8-10 more that could be heard and an indiscernible amount that could not, this is pretty spot on.

If you watched they match like I did you would know what it was.

Exactly my whole point here. You need to actually watch a match to know how it went. For anyone to make comments about how someone got torched or their azz handed to them or taken to the woodshed, has to see the match, not look at a score. A score can only tell you who made the 10 ball without fouling on it, nothing else.

Everything else in between cannot be known unless its seen or if you had additional stats likr b&r's, missed balls, safes, balls on the break, no.of balls made in rack.
